Hi - I've been a few times to Barcelona (love it!!) and did it every time with Expedia for hotels and cheap airline flights... its really easy to get a cab into town. (I recommend staying near the Ramblas to be at the centre of things - we stayed at Hotel Rialto, just in the Barri Gotic which is a nice hotel (Miro the artist used to live there) and very reasonable. Enjoy your holiday (I got proposed to by my husband at the Sagrada Familia... so be careful!!)
