hi does anyone know how long it would take to drive from vancouver city north to the rockies? i'm planning on taking a little RV trip when I'm next in Canada.

The Rockies are east of Vancouver, not north.

It's about a day's drive
don't be too keen to rush to the rockies, as you'll be travelling through scenery just as dramatic in the cascade mountains. this area was traversed by the kettle valley railway, which is said to have been the most expensive railway ever built, mile for mile. much of the old trackbed is open for hikers and cyclists, notably at coquihalla canyon and the myra trestles.
