OK, so we are all going to be snowed in by the end of today and no-one is going to have any bread or milk and the world is almost coming to an end.

What are your hints for survival. You can be serious (if you really want to), but I was thinking we could have some fun........

I'll start - if you run out of milk put Baileys in your coffee.

An AA warning said anyone travelling in icy conditions should take a shovel, blankets, sleeping bag, extra clothing (including a scarf, hat and gloves), 24 hour supply of food and drink, de-icer, rock salt, torch, safety triangle, tow rope, petrol can, first aid kit and jump leads. I looked a right prat on the bus this morning ...

If you run out of coffee drink the Baileys straight.
If you run out of bread, eat cake.
breast milk :)
I haven't got milk or baileys.....I don't think lager goes well with coffee.
No need to add anything to whisky.
if your power goes heat up some water over a candle to make a hot drink....
Ewww, bednobs, have you tasted it? I couldn't bring myself to do it.
.....looks thoughtfully at the cows in the farm over the road.....
Sod it!!!! Baileys. I have run out. Now I will have to go out. I'ts hilly here. Will a pensioner whizzing down the hill on a sledge clutching three bottles of Baileys look common?

lol bednobs and ummmm, I have.

We went on hols with some friends who had a 6 week old baby. Baby wouldn't take the milk from one boob so me and mum both had a taste. We both decided it tasted a little off (compared to right boob). Turned out she had an infection.

Anyway, as you were.

sunnydave
so did I checking on the neighbour two doors away ☺
LOL (seriously) at Dave ^
My oh has gone to work today with no emergency supplies with him except his mobile phone and a warm coat. If he can't drive back he will have a 3 hour walk to get home.
Snow doesn't usually settle here for long though so I reckon he'll be fine :)
I have heard (honest!) that Baileys also goes well in Horlicks, Tia Maria in hot chocolate and dark rum in coffee
LOL @ dave.
Rum!!! I have lots of rum.....phew. I'll put the sledge away.
Why am I posting? I have loads of milk. See how easy it is to cause panic buying of Baileys.
While you have shoes to put on your feet you never need go hungry
