Why - when you choose a default program to open a program does it ask you the same question a day after YOU HAVE told it that's your default program of choice?

Very annoying.

Because you haven't ticked the little box that says, "always use the selected program to open this kind of file"

Or because you've got another bit of software on your computer that is taking the file association back for itself.
