I use Hotmail for most of the "stuff" mentioned below.

I frequently receive emails forwarded by friends and family. Often these have pictures attached and sometimes lots (and lots and lots) of email addresses of people further back down the (forwarding) chain.

My instinct is not to send these email addresses, if I choose to forward the message/pictures to someone else. However, as likely as not, if I delete the addresses, the would-be recipient does not receive the pictures, either.

Is there a foolproof way of safely/successfully purging the messages of previous senders' details, while still preserving the photos?

As usual, grateful for any wisdom on this subject. Many thanks.

Yes - I do this all the time, but I am not on hotmail.

All I have to do is Forward (to open the new email to the next person), then edit the email by deleting all the other people's email addresses (and often all the disclaimer guff at the bottom of the emails as well), so that all I am forwarding to the next person is the photos (or message, or whatever). I'm not familiar with hotmail but I'd imagine that you could do something similar there. Give it a go!

Yes, this is exactly what I usually try to do in Hotmail - and which leads to the problem mentioned above! Thanks for the suggestion, nontheless.
