If you don't want to lose all your cookies then Close'n Forget https://addons.mozill.../addon/closen-forget/ is a useful add-on because you can delete just those for an individual site.

If you've tried all of the above, it 'could' be a problem with the website ... maybe.
Cookies are small data files left by websites on your computer. some are useful, may hold information you are glad not to have to retype when you next visit the site for instance. some are just nosing at what you are doing, where you are going, and IMO should be deleted on principle.

I suspect they have nothing to do with your failure to enter the date. That sounds like a guess from someone with no idea what the real problem was, to me.

That said it doesn't help you fix your problem. Do others have the same issue ?
As OG says, it's difficult to imagine a situation where a cookie would prevent you from entering your DOB.

Seems more likely that either the potential employer is mistaken, or you misunderstood what they said. Maybe they said that you have disabled cookies? It's conceivable that that would cause a form to be rejected.
My guess is the date format you were entering did not match what they were expecting.

Maybe they wanted a 4 figure year but you were entering only 2. or they wanted the month in text but you were entering a number (DEC instead of 12 for example).

Maybe it is a test to see who can get the date entered, and they get the job !

well rojash, this is my last comment on this subject, as i´ve given up the ghost. the said form i was to complete had 1 field with red next to it, this had to be corrected before it was accepted, when i questioned it, i was told it must be a cookie problem.
