Lec upright Freezer problem

The sensor at the top left hand rear has become detached from its position.
The vertical wire ends in a kind of enlarged paper clip with its end turned upwards and currently is at right angles to the cable.

It surely needs to be clipped to a pipe but I'm not sure of its position or if the clip should lie parallel to the LH side of the cabinet or parallel at the back.
