How big is a Pentium Chip?

I know that modern processors contain squillions of transistors, but how much area would a modern pentium processor cover if each path were say, an inch wide?

Well, if you were to assume that the whole of the chip is just traces (the paths between transistors), then one side of the Pentium 4 CPU would be 24.7 miles long. This comes from it's 0.13micron traces and 114 sq. mm (10.6mm / side) sized die (the chip itself). There would be so many of the traces in just one single millimeter that the end result is HUGE. Of course, my math could be wrong, but I hope not ^_^
