FB techie question....

For some reason I have lost the 'chat' section on the bottom of my FB page - the one that tells me who of my friends is on-line, and if they are - I can have an instant chat.

Can anyone tell me how I get that facility back? Not so much the chat option, but the option to see who else is on line at the same time as I am.
