windows media player wont delete some files

Ive tried deleting some video files that dont play on my windows media player but when I click delete nothing happens, Ive tried everything I can think of including trying to find the videos in my folders but there not even there.

is there a way I can reinstall my media player so its all cleared out.or a way to delete the video files that dont play.

WMP ... Options .. Library ... Settings there.

If you want to reset the Library, delete the LocalLMS and Current Database files from this path ..
Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Media Player
It will start rebuilding as soon as you open again, unless you have switched off monitoring or changed it in those settings!
