not sure where to put this ?. I have had several emails lately asking me if i would like to test phones, TV,s laptops etc and if i do they will be mine to keep. I am sure I will be required to accept some sort of inconvenience in return - maybe lots of adverts to computer or phone and wonder if anyone else had tried this and what was the outcome

No - I've had these too, most of them have been filtered into my spam box - I've been asked to be a secret shopper for computer stuff - I don't know who they are, I've never bought from these people, so I treat it as unwanted email spam and just delete it.

If you type 'free laptop scam' or something similar into Google you'll find lots of examples of scams
