Sorry Carmalee, I can't resist it, I hope this works...

I know you don't clean your monitor's screen very often and it is nearly impossible to do the inside, so this is my present to you

box tops - thanks - where do I buy one from?
LOL carmalee......
I use spectacle cleaner fluid with soft cloth.
Question Author
never thought of that Scotman - thank you.
Half clean water / half isopropyl alcohol. Wipe most of dust off first, then use the IP/H2O mixture with very soft tissues. It will remove those annoying streaks.

think I've got some in the cupboard - thanks
Great link boxtops, loved it! I use similar to scotman, but they are 'Optical Lens Wipes' sealed in sachets. They are about 69p for a box of 30 in Home Bargains if you have one near you. You will probably get them in any speccie shop but will be a lot more expensive I expect. It says on the box suitable for 'PC &TV screens, binoculars, mobile phones, car mirrors and helmet visors so very useful indeed. No, I don't have shares in them!!! rosy

Rosy posy I don't have a home bargains store nearby but will look in the £1 shops - thanks for the tip
Tesco window and glass cleaner (with vinegar) and a piece of kitchen roll does the trick for me.
Question Author
have used a bit of dilute vinegar and water and it's much better - thought I had glass cleaner in cupboard but no joy - will get something next time I drag myself to town.
Tesco Value Baby Wipes, work well for us and very cheap, about 22p for pack of 80.
Question Author
ah - now I do get into Tesco - thanks
