Can anybody tell me why my google search result always come back with listings for an adult friend finder website, no matter what i search for?

Sounds like you've got spyware. If you haven't got them already, download and run <a href="http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/300 0-8022_4-10319876.html?tag=lst-0-1">Ad-aware</a> ; and <a href="http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10289035.html?tag=lst-0-2">Spybot</a>.

They're both totally free (my favourite price!) and what one doesn't catch the other probably will.
