cant connect to my emails on my Nokia N97 mini

My Nokia N97 Mini wont connect to my email account and I keep getting a message saying "can not connect to server check username and password", this shouldnt be coming up because my username and password is correct.

I can set up my email account ok it just wont connect to it.

any advice.
