Hi All,
Can anyone help on the following?
A friend has lent me her Canon EOS 300D camera. I'm trying to upload the photos onto my PC, but don't have the software and she can't find it. Have tried to download the files from Canon website but still not doing anything. When I plug the lead into the PC it is not even coming up with the msg 'found new hardware' or acknowledging that something is connected.
An idiot's guide to what I need to do would be much appreciated. Hate it when I can't get things to work. The instruction manual is worse than useless.
Thx

If your PC has a card reader, take the CF card out of the camera and stick it in your PC. It will appear as a removable drive, and you can then copy the photos as you would copy any other files.
