land registry searches - any free sites?

Hi joko - not sure you can. We had to open a special bank account before they'd let us start searching at work

btw...its not for house prices, its for owner info
I don't think so either. I wish there were, but obviously searches are how the Land Registry makes their money.

there are plenty of site that you can buy the info off...one even charging up to £35 for it...but the chapest so far is £4...
You either goes direct onto the LR site and pays £4 per download, OR it is possible to get a licence for an annual fee from LR and download as many as you like. This is what solicitors' practices do (though of course they will charge their clients at £4 a throw).
You MAY be able to find some organisation with such a licence to do it for less than £4 per go, but I doubt it.
