I read in the Telegraph or Sunday Times this weekend of internet sites that allow you to prevent postal and internet spam along with unsollicited phone calls. Try as I might I cannot find the addresses. Did anyone else read this or am I imagining?

You can register with TPS (Telephone Preference Service). Look up their website on www.google.com

I rarely get unsolicited phone calls since I signed up, and if you do get any and you tell them you are registered with TPS, they apologise and hang up.

You can also register your mobile phone.

There is a mailing preference service, try searching on google or it.. could be callled MPS or MOPS.
