make a picture cd with background music

i wish to put together some pictures with background music........i have tried windows movie maker but a box appears and says that the card in my computer does not support the hardware acceleration.
can anybody reccomend any websites or downloads that could help me.

is a free program that is quite similar to Microsoft Office. It has all sorts of cool stuff including Impress, a program similar to PowerPoint program. That will adequately do what you want and is stingy on resource hogging so will probably run on your present hardware.

Should have said: Open Office will only produce shows that work on your computer; Photostage Slideshow will produce CDs and DVDs that you can watch on the telly.

Picasa http://picasa.google.com/ is not only a great photo organizer that allows you to make common edits to pictures but it also lets you create CDs with background music from your selection of those photos.
