Hi there, can anyone tell me how to turn off my desktop computer safely after it froze whilst playing a one hour demo game download. I have tried switching off my tower but that doesn't work and I don't really want to unplug it in it's present state. Please help, I just don't know what to do. Thanks Kath

Hold the power button in for more than 5 seconds.
Chuck....What does 'debunking' mean? (I think that's what it said!!)
In what context?

It means to expose something as untrue in normal use, but I would guess as you've asked me it's in some sort of computer context?
The lappy will be working ok.....next a blue screen appears...with lot's of writing..lol...and it says debunking in X amount of seconds. Apparently it's to avoid damage to my computer. I'll copy it next time. It happens every few days....

That along with the time changing....

Thankyou so much chuck, I have made a note of it and will pin it on my notice board. Kath
Kath. Think you mean debugging. Windows will try and resolve the reason why it crashed so that it won't happen again. It rarely (if ever) acheives that! Just press ok and let it do its thing...

Only because he answered the question first.....
