HTC Legend Glitch?!

hey i just got this new HTC Legend and its an awesome phone. i really like it however i think there is a glitch with the calendar. i am really dependant on the calendar as i organise my life with it. when i make an entery, lets say i add a birthday remider for the 2nd july and set it to annual reminder, 12 hours before start. it will make the event however on the home screen it will tell me the birthday is on the 1st july. i go into the calendar to make sure and in the calendar its the 2nd. and when i go to edit the event it will automatically add a day without informing me. does anyone else have this issue?? or know of a fix?
