audio cable splitter

want to connect video player so it plays through my stereo but only have one input socket that is being used by sky hd box can you get such a thing as a cable splitter so as can play both but not at same time through stereo these are ordinary audio cables any help appreciated

That doesn't work well at all. You can get a triple scart lead on one cable tho. Is your HD box not connected through HDMI ... or next best .. component(3) lead set?
