What's the difference between PA10 & PA12 spec battery charger for a Dell Inspiron 6000? My old one is a PA12 family& the ones I see for sale are PA10, will that be OK ?

the PA10 is 19.5V 4.62A
the PA12 is 19.5V 3.34A

so you can use a PA10 on a laptop that came with a PA12 no problems, but you would over load the PSU if you tried the other way round.
