Hi, I stupidly deleted a programme from my pc but not through the Control Panel/Add Remove Programmes.
Now I have tried to do this I am getting - INSTALL.LOG file - Could Not Open
and of course it has not been removed.

How do I solve this please????

You don't. Without some registry changes.
I've had this problem before. I resolved it by re-installing the programme then uninstalling via add/remove programmes or the actual programme's uninstaller.
Does it matter ? Is it causing you problems ?
There may be registry cleaner type software out there, but if it isn't causing a problem I'd leave them be.
No offence but if you have just deleted the program rather than using add/remove programs, I wouldn't advise you go messing with the registry.

Thanks so much everyone, I do know it was a dumb thing to do and I think I will reload and delete again properly. That will remove the whole thing I hope as its more than one and taking up a huge chunk of space
download:- windows installer cleanup Google it and remove it from there
