how do you keep your music downloads straight? in other words to keep from downloading a song again does anyone have any tips?

Place your media library in alpha order and check before buying.

We have sepearate hard drive for music (we ripped all our cds and put them in the loft out of little fingers reach!)  we have it in alphabetical order of named folders. e.g. A albums, A singles, B albums, B singles....plus a various albums section and a christmas folder.

mrknowledge, If you use iTunes there are three headings in the media library. Song title, artist or album. If you click on any of these words at the top, it will list your songs in alphabetical order of whichever category you choose.
