MOVING FROM BT (LANDLINE) AND AOL (BROADBAND) TO TALKTALK

I am thinking of moving to TalkTalk.
Has anyone had any problems dealing with the move from BT and AOL.
Anyone had any problems dealing with the move to TalkTalk.
Any suggestions that would make the move easier would be appreciated.

im pondering the same things llamekuf,
im with aol and twice now theyve been intouch with me offering me a bit of a deal if i switch my line rental to them instead of bt.
i wouldnt be saving much really apart from continuing with the free landline calls and having 0845 etc thrown in too, which would be handy ..
but nothings happened as yet.
i did ask bt would there a charge if i wanted to return to them at a laterdate and they replied saying no there wouldnt be..
we will be tied into a 24(?) month contract wont we if we go ahead with it?
ive been with aol for donkeys years and have never had any problems with them..
so im with you on this one, itd be interesting to hear of any views .. let me know what you decide to do llamekuf :o)

Last year in our local Tesco a couple of salesgirls were trying to get customers to sign up to Tesco's 'Home Phone' (landline) scheme. I was very surprised when one pf the girls said I'd be better off staying with BT! The reason was, she said, that if I had a line fault under BT, they'd fix the fault as quickly as possible. But when the BT line was contracted out to another company, like Tesco, it would still be BT that did the repair, but they'd be in no rush to do it, and it could be a few days before the line was fixed.

Thanks for the comments people.
I have been offered Broadband, Phone (all calls) and International calls and Line Rental for £20.48 a month from TalkTalk.
Seems to good to be true.

I have been with TalkTalk since they started and I am getting the same programme as you at the same price. I have had no problems with their service except it was rather slow from from my area but has been increased since.

It is not £20.48 a month, it is £24.48 a month.
Still seems a good deal.
