yahoo address book not working or visible

I am using the latest version of firefox and outpost fire wall. Since abput the summer, presumably after changes at yahoo, I am no longer able to view my lists of contacts etc. in yahoo mail. I just get a blank or semi blank screen. the yahoo help is absoultely useless in this regard. tried looking at the firewall settings but nothing seems to stand out as being set up wrongly.
any ideas?
