have recently bought new carwith bluetooth fitted where calls come through stereo system.does phone connected to this use more battery??? phone quite new but having to charge phoneevery other day since using this system?? thanks in advance for your answers.

simple answer, Yes.

With bluetooth on the phone is transmitting an extra signal all the time, this will run the battery down faster.

incidentally, if you don't use your phone for accessing the internet turning off 3G support on the phone will have no effect on you using it but can dramatically increase battery life.

check your phone manual on how to set it to use GSM networks only.
