Finding The Right Laptop Under £500

Hi I am on a Games Design course at university and have been finally been told the software we are going to be using for our 3D work.

That is where my problem lies, we are going to use the recently released Unreal Development Kit (UDK)

The system requirements are as follows:
2.0+ GHz multi-core processor
4 GB System RAM
NVIDIA 8000 series or higher graphics card
Plenty of HDD space (3 GB for install)

All attempts to find a laptop that can meet these specifications under my £500 budget (which cannot be stretched any further) have failed.

The problems i have encountered are laptops that meet all the CPU and HDD requirements and even have nice extras all lack a dedicated graphics card.

All searches for a laptop with a dedicated graphics card have only lead to super high-end gaming laptops with way more specs than i need and thus greatly exceed my budget.

I hope what i'm asking is possible as i don't want to not be able to work from home.

All suggestions of websites, brands, shops or any other method of obtaining my specified laptop at this price would be greatly appreciated.

Surely the university can adivce what one to buy, after all, you are not the only one having this problem (unless the others are getting desktops).

Many unis have deals with hardware companies, try that route.
