Does anybody know who made these? They were a common sight in C&A / Littlewoods / BHS etc during the 70\'s and hung from the ceiling, looking like a Dalek\'s head...

Very many manufacturers made them. They're called 'dome cctv'. Look it up in Google for loads of examples.

Thanks for that! However, that brings up the newer models. The ones that I'm looking for were huge black spheres suspended from a metal rod with 4-6 camera lenses protruding from them. Some had blinking red lights and some would rotate too...
