Network Attached Storage
Hi
Have just installed a Buffalo 250Gb link station but seem to have a problem. (Probably a simple solution but I'm not particularly "up" on networking - still learning !!). All the time my main PC (running XP Home) is on, I can access everything I want to on our Samsung netbook (N110) but once I shut down the PC all I see when I click on My Network Places(on the netbook) is Residential Gateway. If I attempt to open this I get asked for a user name and password - would this be the same name and P/W as those for my router ? Any help would be more than gratefully received.
