Signing out of AB

One or two people mentioned last night that one or two other people had signed out of AB when they left the building but then on their return they could not sign back in again. The message we all seem to be getting on our screens in 'my profile' has changed and refers to not using anything for our user names but letters and numbers. I think that anyone who has previously registered a name using anything like a _ , _ ~ * etc, may now have problems signing back in, this could be just my assumption, but it is a bit unusual for this to happen so coincidentally
I don't sign out when I leave AB and so this hasn't happened to me, but it may be why others cannot get back in.

If the ed is about maybe she could clarify? (If her hangover is not too dabilititating, the upper echelons of society are noted for their inebriate ways)

I don't sign out when I leave AB, but when I went to get back on this morning I got a "error" sort of message. I have AB in my favourites.

So I tried just typing AB into google chrome & I got in first pop.

I can't sign in on IE. I can browse the site but when I enter my username and password and press submit it goes back to where I was without having signed in.

I've just thought, I bet the spare ed is a right p1ss 'ed and can't wait for her to get irrate at someone one night and get herself banned!!! (that is only a thought, I am sure the ed is nothing of the sort lol)

I dont sign out either but cant get to my profile page and my 'shortcut' to the site doesnt work now

morning weeal, it's this ominous threat of AB 2.0 rearing it's ugly head again. Still don't want them to change the orange curtains though, I'm too used to them!

I think AB2 is going to be like an old friends network, as long as you sufficiently suck up you will be allowed on, anything remotely controversial will be removed

oh well, I have seen several editorial personel come and go over the last 4 or 5 years, some were quite appathetic,(sp), but then some can be too officious. To have a challenging job you have to be challenged though.

I don't ever sign out either , I too can't get to my profile , and the short cut in favourites has been playing up lately too :-)

Well I would like to see a clean and friendly site and none of the old arguments and slander stuff, if folk want that they should start up their own site, this is a site for everyone on all subjects.

Well I didn't sign out last night on my comp but this morning I was so tried to sign back in and it won't even go to the sign in page, just shows that error. Luckily I'm not signed out of AB on my iPod touch so am typing this on a tiny keyboard but it takes ages!!

I like the mix of different opinions, 2 strong characters like sqad and doc spock can be quite opinionated but these types of people are needed on this site to mix with different types of personas like wizard66. legend, noknowledge, jackthehat, dot ect

I draw the line at mindless abuse (koolklown et al)

we all want a nice site, but not a site where we feel oppressed or threatened that we may be banned for being outspoken (not abusive, outspoken)
