Hi, does anybody know if there's a way to get dates from before 01/01/1900 to display as dates, rather than text?

As an example of what I'm trying to do, I have a worksheet with the names of everybody who's ever played for England. If I want to sort it by number of matches, goals scored, etc. no problem. But I cant sort it on the order in which they played their first game, because any dates before 1900 aren't recognised.

01/01/1900 is the start of history as far as Microsoft are concerned.

Ace, I can't think why I didn't think of that before. Thanks a lot. There seems to be a number of possibilities there. Thanks a lot.
