1. What is the rated full load current for a kilowatthour meter with the following specifications: GE brand,SINGLE PHASE, CL200,240V.3W,FM2S TA30.
2. Any good reference book dealing on systems losses from 230KV source down to the utility equipments? What is the allowable energy loss in transformers and other substation equipment?

Answers:
1 - I don't know from the specification of the meter you quote but it sounds like a domestic meter, and these are designed to cope with the maximum rating of the single phase domestic installation to which they are fitted. The older ones were 60A, newer ones are 100A. You can work out the rating of this installion (if this meter is connected to a supply) by looking at the main incoming fuse (the one installed by the electricity utility that is sealed with lead).
2 - This is a very popular reference book on the subject but it may be OTT for what you are after.
