When I click on my cd player it says no cd rom player attached to this computer.What can I do to fix it?

What does the device manager say. Right click my computer > manage > find the device manager and there should be no exclamation marks or red crosses under CD/DVD-ROM drives

you either have a hardware clash or cable problem - have you installed any other stuff lately?
