Make bell sound on Dell Inspiron 1720

For a computer that beeps well it's a pity it doesn't do this when battery power is about to run out. I don't always see the flashing red light in time. Can the bell be woken up in addition to the light?

Am I missing something here?

Go to power options in control panel, click on the alarms tab, then click on the alarm action button and put a tick in sound alarm.
