uploading photos

have just got the samsung U900 and not sure why i cant upload my photos ive taken on the phone to my computer, have installed the disc which says USB Driver and have connected the usb cable to my phone then computer but nohing happens, with my other phone when i connected it to pc it came up what do you want to do copy pictures to computer etc and i clicked that option and they were copied so baffled as to why this dosent do the same ?
