dvds sticking

hi guys...whenever i play a dvd on my laptop it plays and then keeps sticking or stopping....is there anything i can do or is it the dvd....so annoying

If the DVD disc is what is called multi layered this can affect some DVD readers and they can stutter and stop. Generally near the end of the disk, if the disk is not multi layered suspect the software used to play the disk i have found Power DVD the best.

be sure you dont have other programs like antivirus etc running at the same time which could affect system performance and memory use.

Be sure discs are spotless.

maybe you do not have enough memory to begin with. my home computer did that too, i upgraded the memory and it worked fine.
