I keep getting "Security Alert" saying "Your computer is at risk in the following area":
Virus protection is turned off even though the task bar states that both Norton Internet Security and Norton Anti-Virus Protect are "Enabled".
System Status says "Auto Protection is "off""
This Symantec window comes on every few seconds!!
Can ANYONE please tell me how to stop the window re-appearing PLEASE.

Do you have Symantec protection and Norton?
You should only have one anti-virus product, as the two will try to detect each other as viruses.

Symantec own Norton so they the same company.

I am not sure why you have Norton Internet Security AND Norton Anti Virus installed.

Norton Internet Security INCLDUES Norton Anti Virus.

Open the Windows Security Centre and see what security Windows THINKS you have installed.
First of all, there should be one antivirus installed in your computer.
Now to remove this notification error, you need to activate you windows security alert option.
> Click Start
> Settings
> Control Panel
> Security Center
Now trun on all option here
