Official Launch of IE8

Today Microsoft have launched IE8 with a load of new features but already I have encountered a problem!
I have been using HP Smart Web Print for sometime and found it very useful but it is not compatible with IE8 at present so for the time being have to do without this facility.
I would be interested in the views of the technically gifted contributors on here such as VHG, Rojash, Chuckfickens etc as to whether they have had time to analyse IE8, and whether they think it is an improvement ?
I haven't got round to trying all the new features yet, but it does have a Browsing Safety feature which could prove to be useful.
What is everyone's views so far?
