I'm trying to connect a PC to a LCD TV.
If I connect to a monitor, (setting the resolution to 800x600), then swap cables from the monitor to the TV, it works fine.
If I was then to reboot the computer, leaving the cable in the TV, I get no display at all.
Anyone any ideas what I need to do to get this working properly?

are you using a VGA cable or DVI?
All computers boot into 640 x 480 initially, and don't switch to the selected resolution until after Windows has loaded, the video drivers have loaded, and Windows has initialised. Maybe your TV can't cope with 640 x 480?

Thanks for your answers, I'm using a VGA cable. As for the 640x480 part, I do see the initial "Windows loading screen", it's after that that it goes blank..I'm going to try another PC tonight (with a better graphics card) and see what happens with that.
