RAW option on my canon 400D

Hi

the raw option on my canon 400d seems to be missing. i go into option 1 and select quality and have the three options plus the lower quality of those three option but no RAW option like it shows me in the manual.

Can someone tell me if i have accidently turned off this option so it does not show up. i am not sure why it is not even showing up under the options.

Have you tried in Google?

I did a search on "Canon 400D RAW" and got a few hits.

This was the first "hit", does this fix it?

yes perfect that answers it perfectly...

you must have chosent the correct keywords as when i did a google search i got either reviews abut using RAW files or issues with it not showing up on a PC rather then the laptop, so thanks for that much appreciated.
