Yellow flash

Can anyone explain what a small yellow flash or star looking thing appears over the hand when I try to click onto a link? Also the link I want to look at is as follows.......Innovativ-sol.com/optimizer/download4_cet.htm
I want to try to speed up my PC and this e-mail was sent to-day. Do any AB`s use it and does it make any difference? TIA.

hold down Ctrl key when clicking the link it will then open for you

Most of these "speed up your pc" sites, tend to give a random report and then charge you to empty your temp files and defrag your hard drive.

I personally wouldn't touch them with a barge pole.
