I have just taken a look at my daughters house by using Google Earth and saw my car parked there that I had about a year ago. What sort of delay is normal for Google Earth? I'm interested to know.

Many thanks C G

Thank you Chris, a most interesting response and I must confess to some surprise as to the length of time.

Some time ago, I had reason to complain to the Local Government Ombudsman about a local issue effecting my street. The LGO replied and said " I have checked your locallity using Google Earth and cannot find the problem that you refer to, I therefore find that your local council have not acted incorrectly in this case"

Blimey, the LGO are a bit behind in there work, aren't they Chris? :)

Thanks again for a very interesting reply

A new house was built down the road from us, about 7 years ago - it's still not there on Google Earth.

Thanks Rojash. That really made my laugh and I remember when we first got Google earth, my daughter went ouside the house hoping that we would be able to see her. That was quite a few years ago. She might be visible now...lol

Cheers C G
Have any of you tried the pegman on taking a walk through the city streets in the UK on google, it`s pretty good.
And while we're peeking in the Guardian..... it seem that some people will do anything to attract the attention of Google Earth :-)
