Hello,

I am worried about identity theft (I've had mail stolen at my old address) and recently applied for credit reports from Equifax, Experian, National Hunter and Call credit (from my new address).
Unfortunately, all four credit reports were lost in the post (or stolen? we only have pigeonholes in my building, not proper letter boxes), alongside a bank statement and 2 other letters (and that's the mail I know of; there might have been more disappearances...).
I am now thinking of paying to have unlimited online access to my credit reports, and I have found the following website:
http://www.checkmyfile.com/
You pay 17.55 per quarter to have access to your credit report from Equifax, Experian and Callcredit.
Has anyone used this service before? I don't really understand how they can source the data from the 3 credit report agencies, it seems to me that it clashes with data protection, and I found the layout of the website (the little drawings) a bit childish.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Pimpernel,
Have a look at www.creditcheck.co.uk.
I use them and pay 6.99 per month.

I use PPS the credit card protection people and pay about 80 per year for identity theft protection. They also email you with alerts if any credit is requested using your name - they are linked to Experian.
sorry (senior moment) not PPS I meant CPP
