Just wondered what is the most useful thing you've found on Answerbank when you've really needed it?

I recently got a new TV and managed to put the child lock on, the manual page with that feature was a duplicate of a different page!  Got onto this site and found a back door button sequence to unlock it, much to my relief and gratitude!

Recently, rekstout saved the day for me when I was trying to learn how to make homemade pasta and he gave me some brilliant tips.

Also got some much-needed support from lots of people (though not incredibly useful answers per-se) about trying to brush a 2-year-old's teeth.

I'm realtively new here, so I could not say that I got information I really needed.

Some interesting stuff, though!

On a similar German site, though, I have been helped loads of times. For example with insurance information, when my cat broke the neighbour's glass table.

That saved me 150 Euro (approx 100 Pounds).

Not life saving information admittedly, but I never knew what used stamps were collected for and now I do :) Thank you Answerbank :)
Ooh, tell me natalie! The tension is killing me!
Actually, Georgit they are sold in packs to stamp collectors (mostly juniors) who can then add any 'finds' to their collection. You weren't mocking me were you? I collect them at work for charities! I'm not a stamp collector I swear!
