Hi, wanting to install a sky plus box. is it true i can't record programmes without a subscription?

For �10 a month you can record the free to view programmes.

Without that subscription the box will record but not play back a viewable picture.

Any reason why you don't want to buy a freeview digital twin tuner hard drive recorder?

Ethel is right, or get a freesat (bbc freesat... not sky freesat... they are different) PVR box if you already have a dish.
