does anyone know if it is possible to connect a PSP to a 26in LCD tv that doesnt have a VGA socket or an s-video socket???

it might be more help to say what your TV does have rather than what it doesn't.

anyhow.... only generation 2 PSP's have a video out at all, so if you have a first generation one then you can't output it to any tv ever.

Assuming you have a generation 2 PSP then they will output video into either a composite video input (the little yellow phone type connector) or into a scart socket with the correct lead.
