itouch or archos

i would like to buy one of the above, but don't know which one to go for, can anyone help me out.
I have an ipod, so I will just be using it for internet, videos and pictures.
I do like the look and feel of the itouch, but i don't know anyone that has an archos to compare it too and i have also read some bad reviews and i'm not too sure about all the add ons you have to get.
Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.
