I'm in need of a set of winceyette/flannel pyjamas. I'm a big-ish girl - 44" bust and hips, and I really don't want anything frilly or floral, so a men's set would be fine. Button-through top would be ideal.

I'd like to buy via online/mail order, if I can, and it goes without saying that less I have to spend, the better.

Any ideas?

very nice - nothing wrong with them at all
Uh Uh Ice-maiden - you missed the crux of the post - Wynceyette or flannel - I'm sensing that saxy doesn't want to be sexy, just cosy ;o)
I didn't miss it hun. Just thought that she'd like to feel soft and sensual in some jimjams. Those thicker ones can be in nice colours, but size shouldn't mean that someone has to wear stuff like that.
Still - sorry if they're no good. Tried! : )
Just teasing icey - wouldn't know about things like PJs - I haven't worn anything to bed since I was a grown up! Oh apart from when I was in hospital having my boys - not really acceptable (or very scenic) being "au natural" in the hospital.
I thought that about the jimjams but when you see them they do look nice theones from Kays actually they all look nice but I'm always hot in bed so no need

I know - I had to go and buy some for when I was in hospital last year. They felt alien!!! My mother couldn't understand why I hadn't already got any - told her I always wear nighties!!! That's no good, she said...and promptly dragged me out to find several pais of pyjamas!!! Have to say though, because her choice was so foul, she said I could choose some "nicer ones" for when I got home - so I sent off to Agent Provocateur!! Kept both of us happy!!!
My mum is the same - I have a lovely little stack of pairs of Pjs and nighties that she has bought me over the years, still in their packets - I haven't the heart to tell her I don't wear any. I just can't stand being resticted in bed. The kids have asked if they can not wear pyjamas any more, but I think it is a bit funny for kids not to wear them. I might let them just wear boxers in the summer.
Don't think there's anything wrong in sleeping in the buff - apart from if your little ones have/go to sleepovers. I think they're horribly restrictive.
Had to laugh about your packets of unopened jj's though! Same here.

That first lot looks just the jobbie. I've found some in the Damart catalogue too.

Usually I sleep in the buff, but we've started caravanning recently. We go out in all weathers, not just when it's warm, and caravans don't tend to be the warmest places at night, even with another human for company. This weekend, in the middle of a wind- and snow-lashed field, I've been kipping down in some old jogging bottoms and a lightweight fleece, but some nice, snug PJs would be better.
I am sure that Primark do some cosy ones as well, it might be worth a look if you have one near by. Another option would be a set of thermals like they wear under ski outfits. I think I would prefer that as they are more fitted to your body and you wouldn't get as tangled up.

primark do some really nice cozy ones just check the sizes on the tops and bottoms before trying them as some people tend to swap them about even though some are tied with ribbons also the sizes in Primark sometimes aren't quite big enough or the bottoms aren't long enough on the legs!
