I have a Dell Studio 27 laptop and when I FORWARD an email that has a photo embodied within the text area, it is received with the photo missing being replaced by a blank box with a small red cross in the top left corner. I think it must be a setting on my laptop (rather than an email setting) because it happens on both my email programs (Outlook Web Access and Windows Mail). This has never happened on any of my previous computers. Any ideas will be much appreciated.

What about ther settings on the email client of the person receiving the email? Maybe they are set to block pictures?

Hace you tried sending such an email with the attachment to yourself? What happens then?
